When you support the family... support the Soldier and Airman.                                                                                     The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 by a group of existing and former Texas National Guard members with the purpose of supporting the needs of those serving our great State of Texas during both peace and wartime.
Programs to Build Strong Famillies We have programs to support military families such as Youth Programs, Morale and Welfare Programs, Limited Fund-raising Groups and Emergency Assistance.

The Foundation receives funding from groups, companies, and individuals who wish to support the Texas Military Forces and their families.
You Can Make A Difference When our soldiers know that their efforts - and their families back at home - are blanketed in the financial and emotional support of thousands of Americans just like you, they are free to focus on the task at hand.

Your support can make a difference in the lives of our soldiers and their families - building a stronger country for every United States citizen.

Financial Counseling Program

Financial Educational Counseling for Texas National Guard Service Members

The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation received a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission, Fund for Veterans’ Assistance Grant that enables the Foundation to provide financial counseling to Texas National Guard service members and family members. While the Foundation remains resolved in providing emergency financial assistance for a multitude of purposes, the grant specifically funds participation in educational classes to enhance and expand financial knowledge in order to avoid future financial crises.

The Foundation is aware that there are many programs, such as the Financial Peace University, that provide community-based classes at sites throughout Texas.   Some programs are offered on an individual basis versus group classes. We welcome the opportunity to consider supporting all of these programs.

The Foundation will also pay for childcare while the service member attends the program.  We will require the invoice and must be able to pay directly to the childcare center.
