When you support the family...      ...you support the Soldier and Airman.                                                                                     The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 by a group of existing and former Texas National Guard members with the purpose of supporting the needs of those serving our great State of Texas during both peace and wartime.
Programs to Build Strong Famillies We have programs to support military families such as Youth Programs, Morale and Welfare Programs, Limited Fund-raising Groups and Emergency Assistance.

The Foundation receives funding from groups, companies, and individuals who wish to support the Texas Military Forces and their families.
You Can Make A Difference When our soldiers know that their efforts - and their families back at home - are blanketed in the financial and emotional support of thousands of Americans just like you, they are free to focus on the task at hand.

Your support can make a difference in the lives of our soldiers and their families - building a stronger country for every United States citizen.

11th Operation Call Home Drive

The 11th Annual Operation Call Home Drive held by Austin's KLBJ and sponsored by Lamb's Tire and Automotive, raised funds again this year for Texas service members currently serving in Afghanistan. The purpose of the fundraiser is to enable service members to connect with their families during the 2013 holiday season.

The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation is happy to announce that it was chosen again to receive $10,345.00 for the Texas National Guard. The Foundation procured 2,069 calling cards by negotiating a tax-free sale. All the calling cards were given to the Family Support Services office at Camp Mabry for distribution.

The check was presented by Jim Ramsey, President of Lamb's Tire & Automotive, at the 2014Trail of Lights on "Heroes Night" to one of the Foundation's Board of Directors LTC (Ret) Kristine Shelstad.
